Business Trips Overview

From March 2004 to October 2008 I took 19 international trips to four continents as part of my job. Most of my trips were to the UK to visit my direct reports (2005 to 2008). I averaged a trip there about every three months during that time. I also traveled to India several times to visit our current supplier and my reports as well as potential vendors. Other trips were made to our offices in Hong Kong, Paris and Melbourne to meet with business users and project staff.

Because many of these trips were two (or once even three weeks) in duration, I also found time to visit some of the local sights on the weekends. In this way I was fortunate to learn more about the areas I visited and gain a greater appreciation for the culture, people and history.
